The Bentley Flying Spur was developed as the four-door variant of the Continental GT. The car is powered by the 6.0 liter DOHC twin-turbocharged 46-valve W12 engine developed by Volkswagen, developing 552 HP at 6,100 RPM and 479 ft/lb at 1,600-6,100 RPM.

The engine drives a permanent torque-sensing all-wheel drive system with a ZF 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, allowing for manual shifting through steering wheel-mounted paddles while in the Sport mode.
